Tawesco has a new Chief Operating Officer. Marek Vozák joins the company's management team
Tawesco, a member of the Promet Group engineering group, is strengthening its management team. Marek Vozák, an experienced professional with more than 20 years of experience in pressing, the manufacture of pressing tools, and engineering production management, has taken up the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer.
During his professional career, Marek Vozák has held technical and managerial positions, led large teams, and has long been involved in increasing production efficiency using Lean management methods. Thanks to his technical background, analytical approach, and ability to lead teams, he is a valuable addition to the Kopřivnice plant.
He joins Tawesco with the aim of supporting its further growth and streamlining operations in connection with the expansion of orders and projects for the automotive sector. The new position of Chief Operating Officer was created in response to the company's development.
"Marek Vozák will be directly responsible for managing the technical department, production, logistics, and quality. I expect him to be an important link between the strategic management of the company and day-to-day operational matters. I believe that thanks to his approach and know-how, we will be able to achieve growth with high quality and efficiency," says Margita Rejchrtová, CEO of Tawesco.
Investments, sales, purchasing, finance, and human resources will remain under her direct management. "In addition, I will devote more time to the strategic development of the entire Engineering Division and new projects. Currently, for example, the development of a joint venture between the Indian engineering group SKH and our Promet Group," adds Margita Rejchrtová.
"At Tawesco, we have long focused on increasing the technical complexity of orders and developing technological competencies. We therefore see the creation of this position as a logical step towards strengthening the manufacturing part of the company and its further growth," adds Denisa Materová, CEO of the Promet Group.
Marek Vozák comes from PWO Czech Republic, where he gradually held the positions of head of press tool design, machine production, and director of the tool shop profit center. He is a graduate of the Brno University of Technology, majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Industrial Management.
