Tawesco delivered over 11 million parts to Škoda Auto last year
Last year, Tawesco delivered 11.1 million pressed and welded body parts to the carmaker Škoda Auto. We are pleased that, as a stable strategic supplier, we can make a long-term contribution to the success of one of the largest Czech brands.
Today, components from our plants in Kopřivnice, Úvaly, and Pečky head into all of the carmaker's models, from traditional cars like the Fabia and Octavia to the electric Enyaq series. As a result, every Škoda car manufactured in the Czech Republic and Slovakia contains anywhere from one to twenty of our body parts.
"Škoda Auto is a significant customer for us, and we greatly value this long-term, prestigious partnership. In addition to stampings and welded assemblies, we produce complete pressing tools for them, for example, for side panel production. We thus have a share in the entire process of creating body parts," says Margita Rejchrtová, CEO of Tawesco.
Our mutual cooperation has been successfully ongoing for more than thirty years. The supplied parts therefore play a role in last year's success of the carmaker, which produced over a million cars worldwide and strengthened its position as the third best-selling car brand in Europe.
