Tawesco has undergone another annual sustainability assessment conducted by the international platform EcoVadis, which monitors the performance of 130,000 companies worldwide.

Tawesco participated in the assessment for the fourth time and recorded a significant improvement. It scored 55 points, which is 16 points more than in the previous year. As a result, it received the prestigious "Committed" badge, which EcoVadis awards to companies with a proven commitment to responsible and sustainable business.

The EcoVadis assessment is based on 21 criteria divided into four areas:

  • environment
  • labor and human rights
  • ethics
  • sustainable procurement

"The EcoVadis assessment is an important confirmation for us that we are moving in the right direction in terms of sustainability," says Václav Gurkovský, ESG manager at Tawesco. "Our customers also view the improvement in the rating positively. It is a clear signal that we take responsible business seriously and are actively working on it."

Tawesco will continue its efforts in the area of sustainability and is preparing further steps that can contribute to further progress and a higher score.
